Rees plays drums for Grammy-winning dance trio "Dirty Vegas" and hence has toured Europe, America and Japan. He has played sessions for many artists including Danni Minogue and the Sugababes. His drumming is tight, energetic and technically superb. He is also very tall.

Rees has his own band "7HQ" who are signed to Parlophone. He also runs a disco/function band called "Groove Tube".
